Play Day #2

Day 2 of Rayna's workshop was very fun and productive. All the design exercises were fairly quick, which meant you couldn't over analyze any of your choices. She also wanted you to use fabric that we painted the first day. Here are the four pieces that I designed. It was a great class, I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to make original designs.

Ooooh, Mom, I love the last one! The background reminds me of the time we tried to tie-dye (batik?)with those leaves and such in the garage, but yours looks so much better!

P.S. I didn't know that you had a blog!

My favorite is the last one, too, but I enjoyed seeing all of your class samples at our meeting. Wish I could have been there!

Well, you know which one I like best!

Well, I've finished them all. Thanks Rayna, the workshop was lots of fun!

Rachel, the background is the same technique we did that day, the difference is, don't use too many colors close together. You end up with a mud color. Live and learn!
